Randy was the 2005 winner of the Long Beach Grand Prix and Cleveland Grand Prix and the runner-up in the 2005 Trans-Am Drivers' Championship in his #49 Preformed Line Products Corvette with Derhaag Motorsports. A veteran road racer who has just finished a long career in the Trans-Am Series, Randy also has experience in ASA and NASCAR short track racing.

One of the fittest drivers, Randy is an avid bicycle rider. Ruhlman actively works with the Lance Armstrong Foundation to help promote cancer survivorship.
